Honestly my main motivation isn't stone chips or resale, it's that washing my car here is a nightmare. The dust sticks, water spots form instantly, and I spend way too long on it every weekend. I've been told ceramic makes washing easier but film doesn't really change that, then someone else said the opposite. I read an Expert comparison of PPF and ceramic coating to try and settle it and it did clarify that they work differently, but I'd like real opinions from people who actually wash their own cars. Does coating genuinely make the weekly wash quicker and easier? And if you have film, does it make washing harder or is it roughly the same?
