I made the mistake of letting one of those cheap roadside wash guys near my building have a go at my car with what I'm pretty sure was a dirty rag, and now the whole bonnet is covered in fine swirl marks that catch the light horribly. I tried polishing it myself with a kit from the accessories shop and honestly I think I made it slightly worse. I'm in ICAD and I'd rather take it to someone who actually knows how to use a machine polisher instead of experimenting on my own paint. A guy at work mentioned Best paint polishing and detailing workshop in ICAD but he couldn't remember the name or whether they were any good. Has anyone here had paint correction done locally? I want to know if it genuinely removes swirl marks or if it's just a temporary gloss that fades after a few washes.
