We're setting up a small storage area for solvents and cleaning chemicals at our new unit in Ajman Industrial Area and I'm trying to work out what's actually required before we start bringing stock in. The landlord was vague, the guy we bought racks from was vaguer, and every forum post I find seems to be about Dubai rules rather than Ajman. I found some Ajman chemical storage area requirements while searching around but I'd rather hear from someone who's actually been through an inspection here. Do we need a bund under every IBC or just the ones with hazardous stuff, and does the free zone versus mainland distinction change anything? I'd rather get this right before we fill the place up and find out we've done it wrong.
