After years of driving cars with cracked dashboards, I finally bought a used one where the interior is genuinely spotless. Now I'm paranoid about ruining it. The car will be parked outside most days and I know our summers are brutal on interiors. I found some Quality tips to prevent a cracked dashboard in Dubai summers that covered things like sunshades and protectants, but I'd like to know what actually works in practice. Do those dashboard protectant sprays make a real difference or is it mostly about shade and sunshades? And is there anything I should avoid that actually makes cracking worse? I want to keep this interior looking good for as long as possible.
